If you are unable to make an appointment and need to reschedule or you wish to cancel it is requested that you provide a minimum of 24hrs notice. To make sure you don't forget your appointment, you will receive an email 48hrs prior to your appointment and a text message 24hours prior to your appointment.
Due to cancellations and no-shows having a large financial impact on a small business, failure to provide 24 hours' notice of cancelling or rescheduling will result in a cancellation/rescheduling fee of 50% of the appointments total value. No shows OR Cancellations on the day of your allocated appointment time will result in a cancellation/rescheduling fee of 100% of the total appointment value. It is understandable that unavoidable issues may arise and in case of an emergency we will do our best to work with you, however we also ask you to please take into consideration that this is our livelihood and that cancellations (regardless of the situation) have a large impact on our income.
The cancellation/reschedule or no show fee will be invoiced to you via email and any outstanding fees must be paid prior to your next appointment. Failure to do so will result in all future appointments being cancelled.
No shows will result in all future appointments having to be prepaid before an appointment is held for you.
As we often work to tight time schedules it's important that you are always on time to your appointments, if you are more than 10 minutes late to an appointment it may be altered (if time allows) or cancelled/rescheduled if we are unable to deliver a services during your allocated time, the cancellation fee above of 50% will apply to the lost appointment.
Please ensure you never come to an appointment if you are sick! We work within very close proximity to you which means it is crucial that you reschedule if you suspect you are unwell. If you fail to reschedule and show up to an appointment unwell you will be sent home immediately and invoiced 50% of the service you were booked in for. We ask that if you do need to reschedule due to sickness that, you provide adequate notice where possible, in instances where this is not possible, our standard cancellation policy applies.
A salon is not a safe place for small children, there are many hazards including chemicals and items that are not safe to climb or are easily damaged/breakable. The salon is a space to unwind, relax and have some much deserved YOU time, this is not possible with a little one on your lap or at your feet. We ask that you please base your appointments around being able to come alone. The only exception is children who are old enough to sit in the service chairs for the entire appointment, please ensure they remain seated.
Gel Therapy Co. holds a strict no refund policy. We will always do our best to remedy any grievances, however, under no circumstances will a refund be offered.
